Does anyone know if Pyrex produced transparent fridgies, and if they did, would they say Pyrex underneath?
I saw a glass dish that looked like it could be a Pyrex fridgie, with ridges like on the lid, but no Pyrex mark. It was longer than the average fridgie
Sorry, I don't have a pic.
Thank you if you can shed some light on this!

ReplyDeleteYes, I have seen transparent fridgies. As far as I know, they are marked the same as other Pyrex--it should say Pyrex on the bottom.
ReplyDeleteLOL--I just opened up my cabinet and realized I own a transparent fridgie, and yes, it is marked Pyrex on the bottom.
ReplyDeleteLol, Feltsey, I know, if you're a hoarder like me, we forget how much stuff we have already! Thank you for checking, obviously the one I saw was not a Pyrex. Glad I didn't pick it up.
ReplyDeleteI have one as well, and it is marked the same as the others. According to my Pyrex book, these are among the oldest fridgies - I never would have guessed!
