$3 Aqua Snowflake Divided Dish!

Hello Pyrex Collective, it's SixBalloons here! I have another great Pyrex find to share. I am starting to think this Spring Cleaning theory really does have some legs... Or maybe I've just been hitting up the thrift stores more now that the weather is nicer?

My find was a new Snowflake divided dish in the white background with aqua snowflakes, purchased for $3 with the lid! I think it looks great stacked up with my Dandelion Divided Dish! I love how easy it is to coordinate Pyrex pieces.

Erin has also adjusted some settings so that I can review statistics for the Pyrex Collective site, i.e. number of page views, where readers are visiting from, and what the most popular posts are. I was planning to do a post sometime to share this information since some of you may be interested!

Please stop by and visit to see more photos at my post Aqua Snowflake Divided Dish!

Pyrex Price Gouging

Would you pay $50 for this???!?

I sure hope not!! But an unscrupulous (or uneducated) thrift store owner was banking on it. This is one of the gifts a friend gave me. I know for sure that she didn't pay $50 for it.

This brings my collection of divided dishes to three. Down from four, because today I gifted my barbed wire divided to a friend (who squealed and 'fake fainted' to the floor with delight! Admit it...how many of you have done the same ;) ) She had admired it out loud several times in the past couple of months. I knew from the moment I found it that it would be perfect for her, and planned to give it to her as soon as I found a divided that I'd want to keep for myself. I am quite happy with my trio.

And here's a coincidence...at the moment I found the Barbed Wire at Value Village, I got a call on my cell (I was still in Value Village!) from my other friend to tell me that she had scored some great Pyrex finds for me that day, including the Daisy divided casserole. She was calling me with an armload of Pyrex while I was standing there with an armload of Pyrex!

A Pyrex Happy Day!

Hello friends,

Popping in to share today's bounty. I've been patiently waiting for this particular antique sale that was held today. I met my pal Char there early and it was jam packed, but I managed to squeeze thru the crowds to get my hands on a few lovelies.

I found these delphite fridgies for $20. I had no idea they were made in Canada. Very cool. These make me really happy.

My heart almost stopped when I saw this beauty...my favourite pattern! Maybe priced a bit high at $18, but considering how rare it is for me to find anything Friendship the price was just right. It's also in terrific condition.

Lastly, I bought these Pink Daisy space savers for $14.50. I really love them in all their pink glory.

So the sale was great and I was pleased with the haul. It wasn't the jackpot I hit the last time this sale was held, but I was happy. I normally buy my Pyrex at thrift stores and garage sales and these are items I would NEVER see at those places.

But that's not the only Pyrex the day had in store for me. Char (who is always on the lookout for me) had these cute Butterfly Gold casseroles waiting for me in her vehicle.

She also had this amazing Snowflake divided dish (in fantastic shape too).

How lucky am I to have my very own personal Pyrex shopper?

Here's all of it together. Oh, happy day!

I hope your day was full of Pyrex too!
