Rare Delphite Casserole Reunited with Lid!
Hello Collective! SixBalloons here! I'm happy to report that I've had my first (and successful) Pyrex Purchasing adventure from eBay!
I feel that I was able to put together these two "loose" pieces to make a set that's hard to find in the wild so I am pretty happy!
Please stop by sixballoons.blogspot.com to view some more photos of my new set and say hello! I'd love to hear what you pieces you've been pining after on eBay.
I love a seller who packs things with such care.

Question
Hello there,
I received the following question from Julia. If you can help answer it, please leave a comment below.
Thanks a lot!
Erin
I came across your blog when I was searching for information on the "Blowing Leaves" 024 Pyrex Bowl (2 qt.) in turquoise without the lid. I recently acquired one, and want to list it in my etsy shop. I know it's pretty rare, and I can't find any ballpark pricing information on it. Do you have any suggestions on pricing? I'd like to get a good return on it, as I'm a single mom in dire circumstances right now.

Recipe: Kitchen Sink Salad
Hi Pyrex friends, Anna here from Victory Garden Yarn! I shared a tasty & versatile Summer salad recipe on my blog today, a little something I like to call Kitchen Sink Salad. Like any good collector, only Pyrex was used in the making of this dish--including the Summery & bright new turquoise plate I recently added to my collection of tableware!
Pop on over to my blog if you'd like the recipe!
I hope your weekends are full of excellent finds out there at the sales & thrifts!
xo

Update
Just wanted to share an update of my collection. I'm limiting myself to only Daisy/Citrus Yellow, Aqua and Daisy/Citrus Orange and the special Green that they only made two pieces in.

PYREX on TV
Just been watching the only season of the short lived "The Ellen Show" sitcom on Netflix & just wanted to share a snapshot of the shelf in the kitchen that I have been paying close attention to throughout the season since the Pyrex on the shelf has been ever-changing. Cloris Leachman is also cooking with the Shenandoah pattern mixing bowl.
Taken quickly with my camera, but you get the point. :)
Green Dots & Squares Bowl!
I went to an antiques flea market yesterday and saw this salad bowl set. I'd never seen it before, so I snapped it up (even bargained with the seller to lower the price). I offered him $5 less than he was asking and he replied, "Sure, my wife's not here right now...", with a smile. Lucky me!
From what I've found online, this was a one-time promotional run and fairly scarce. Do any of you know more about it -- the years it was produced, what promotion it was offered with and whether the fork and spoon came with it? They match it VERY well!
Anyway, I've been doing the happy dance over this one!

Square Flowers Arrived Today
It's a great mail day when Pyrex arrives!!! I sent my friend Sharon a little something, she sent me something back - because that is just what we do!!! I didn't have anything in the Square Flowers pattern, she had extra so she shared with me - she's so kind!
I don't think I've ever actually seen the Square Flowers pattern before - I like it!!! It would be great to have at least one piece in each pattern, that would make a really nice collection, I would be more than happy with that!! I have about five or six to go, of course, that's not counting promotionals...
