Need a little help from my friends!

Hi everyone its Terra here. I am doing some courses this summer at University towards my bachelor of arts. Two of the courses I'm doing are folklore (its my minor) and for one of my classes I have to do a mini ethnography of a culture. The culture I've chosen to do is Pyrex collectors. I've interviewed my friend's mom, who collects Pyrex, but I wanted to try to have a range of interviews/answers. I'd love to know who collects Pyrex and why so I've made up a quick survey using SurveyMonkey and the link is posted below. I'm also emailing Erin to see if can be posted on Pyrex Collective II and III as well. Also if anyone would be interested in letting me use some pictures of their collections or having a more in depth interview/talk about Pyrex it would be greatly appreciated and you can email me at terra_barrett at hotmail dot com. Please fill out this quick survey! But watch out because I used the free version which only lets you ask 10 questions so a few questions have two parts. Click here to take survey Also here are the latest additions to my collection and updates to my display to enjoy!
Thanks so much!

Question

Hello there,
I recently received this email. If anyone out there in Pyrex land has an answer to the question, please leave a comment.
Pip pip!
Canadian Erin

Hello,
I was researching Pyrex bowls and ran into your email.
My mother has a small clear glass Pyrex bowl with Coca-Cola embossed on the bottom. Not painted or screen shot.
I have not been able to find any information on this bowl.
Have you seen this bowl? Do you know how I can find information on the bowl?
I have searched several websites but with no success.
Thank you for any information you can share.

Pyrex 'Round the House!

Hello Pyrex friends! Anna from Victory Garden Yarn reporting for Pyrex duty! I am so excited: I have a brand new chair in my living room, which I strategically placed right smack next to my Pyrex collection. Needless to say, it's now the best seat in the house! Not only are my cooking & knit & crochet books close by for reference, but I feel like I'm in my own little Pyrex museum when I sit in my new spot.

Now that I have a place to sit & gaze at my collection on a regular basis, I'm constantly pulling pieces out of my cupboards & finding new ways to use them around the apartment. Of course I use what I can in the kitchen--and on a daily basis. But since space is a challenge in my tiny home, creativity & using Pyrex as clever storage is key! I love seeing how you all use & display your collections around your houses, so I thought I'd share a few fun photos of my current favorites around here!

Happy Summer hunting, friends!
xo, Anna

Happy to Find This!

I haven't posted on here in a while, I found two cute little pieces yesterday, I was shocked to see this sitting on the shelf at Value Village...

How cute is that?  I placed some miniature chocolates in it so you could see just how small it really is.   It's not very often I ever see flamingo pick and surely not there, it was made in Canada.  They marked it high - $3.99 but my saver card was full and soon expiring so I got a further 30% off - not bad!!

This is my first Butterfly Gold with this design, the other pieces I have are the design of just flowers and butterflies, no stalks like this one.  It's a 474B, I paid $2.

Before I went thrifting, I was picking raspberries and bought a bunch of vegetables at a farm, I placed everything in Pyrex, come over and visit my blog here to see all my produce in all those beautiful vintage dishes!

Blue Flowered Casserole

I found this little casserole and lid at a local rummage sale and snapped it up.  When I looked it up in my Pyrex book at home, I can't find the pattern.  It looks alot like the blue flower pattern that I've seen on Gemco salt, pepper & sugars, but not exactly.

Still, it's pretty sweet!  I especially like the matching lid -- it reminds me of Friendship and Verde, so I think it must be newer (relatively).   Does anyone know the pattern and when it was made?
