Question

Hello there,
I received the following question from Julia. If you can help answer it, please leave a comment below.
Thanks a lot!
Erin

I came across your blog when I was searching for information on the "Blowing Leaves" 024 Pyrex Bowl (2 qt.) in turquoise without the lid. I recently acquired one, and want to list it in my etsy shop. I know it's pretty rare, and I can't find any ballpark pricing information on it. Do you have any suggestions on pricing? I'd like to get a good return on it, as I'm a single mom in dire circumstances right now.

  1. I wish you lotsa luck get a real good price on this piece.

I find that people who collect Pyrex a often thrifters
so getting a high price is a matter of chance. the right place at the right time.

Keep a positive attitude and be patient; that should do the trick.

I would pay 20$ tops for it on Etsy but might be willing to pay more on Ebay

  2. Why would you pay more for it on Ebay than Etsy? I'm not sure I understand what the difference would be to the buyer.

    1. On Ebay it is like a gamble so people take more chances.

On Ebay you have different buyers more speedy, more business like more profit driven. Etsy is more leisurely, laidback.

It is just my opinion, some people might feel differently
