  1. Wow, it is pretty, but I think that my husband would have me put away if I ever spend that much on a piece of Pyrex!

  4. Holy cow. To quote Steel Magnolias, my favourite movie ever, "Are you HIGH, Clairee?"

Honestly, that's just ridiculous. It's a gorgeous piece, though.

  5. See, that's just plain greedy. I'll wait to thrift mine. What? I've found some pretty rare pieces at thrift stores--and I enjoy the hunt. Not gouging out my checkbook.

  6. Gah! Not to assume (you know what they say about making assumptions...) buuuut, in my opinion, most Pyrex collectors are also quite thrifty people. I don't see ANY collector paying $499 for a piece of Pyrex. Am I wrong?

    1. Unfortunately, you are probably wrong... The person who bought the Lucky In Love casserole for $662 might think this is a steal!

      Amazing piece though.

    2. I don't know, the Luck In Love is a lot more rare than Cloverberry.

  7. INSANE! I have an Ebay alert set up for Clover Berry and was so happy last week when this listing popped up...until I saw the price and my jaw dropped! NO way I would spend that much on Pyrex. I love it, but not that much! I have faith I'll find a Clover at a thrifty price some day, because I do love the pattern!
