Weekend Finds

Just wanted to do a quick post with the three fabulous pieces of Pyrex I found last week/over the weekend! All thrifted of course (Goodwill and St. Vincent de Paul).

Black Tulip 1 1/2 Qt Casserole. Missing the lid, but in pristine condition!
"Pressed Flowers" 1 1/2 Qt casserole. With lid. Not a flaw to be found. I absolutely LOVE the buttery yellow color of this dish! Definitely in my top 3 favorite finds thus far!
Cute little Butterfly Gold creamer

Hope your adventures in thrifting Pyrex have been just as fruitful as mine!

Black Tulip

I made a quick run to the thrift store today on my lunch hour and spotted this pretty 1-1/2 quart casserole with lid.  I bought it (and another vintage typewriter, what is my problem?) and was out of the store with goodies in hand in less than 15 minutes flat.  Speed thrifting at its best!

Of course, I had no idea what this pattern was, so I had to look it up when I got home.  According to Pyrex Love, it's a Black Tulip promotional decorator casserole from Christmas 1957.  The only thing missing is the caddy.  Does anyone ever find those things?
