This is my newest find...yesterday at the Salvation Army store...$1.49. Also had some man who was looking over all the glassware really good...kept eyeballing this piece the whole time I was carrying it around...lol...I think he was waiting for my to put it down. It's Pyrex England, there is a # just under the handle either 340 or 34C...I'm still hunting for the pattern name. Does anyone know?
i've also oggled others carrying around pyrex. no one *ever* puts them down! lol
ReplyDeletei really like the pyrex england pieces. there is an elegance to them. nice find :)
Thank you Ana...this is my 1st England piece. I've been all morning hunting for the year and pattern name...let the fun begin!
ReplyDeleteThe English pieces tend to be softer and less bold than the North American ones, don't they?
ReplyDeleteThis one is so pretty, I love the soft pastel pink flowers.
That's a very pretty bowl. I've seen that pattern before on Flickr but I don't know the name. If I find out, I'll let you know.
ReplyDeleteI think it's called "Emily."

Thank you Sharon...I also just found it. I also found this...
ReplyDeleteApproximately 6 ½" (16.5cm) wide (not including handles).
•It was made in England and it is a pattern specific to the UK making it difficult to find outside of Europe.
Now hunting for a year.
I found a piece with this pattern today at my local antique mall for $2!! It came with a large lid, and it is the Emily pattern. My first time finding a Pyrex England piece. My Mom actually found me another piece in FL that is the Chelsea pattern!
