Pyrex without a name

thanks erin...i'm up and running now. i, too, am new to this blog. thanks everyone for all the great posts and photos that i've been viewing for the past few months. they have really helped inspire me with my new hobby (my friends are ready to perform an intervention for my "addiction"). i found this piece last weekend, but haven't been able find out what its called. anyone know? lsh :)

  1. I just checked your pattern out on Pyrex Love - looks like Terra Cotta Rose to me - a nice find!!!

  2. Nice piece Leslie! Yes as Jill said, this is Terra Cotta Rose from the late 1970s or early 1980s.

  4. thanks for all the love guys! i have been sticking to thrift stores for my hunting, but last weekend, i checked out an antique mall in sacramento. i almost gagged when i saw the prices, but i checked pretty much every single piece until i found four that i deemed acceptably priced. my terra cotta rose was the first that i found and was $5. the others were all between $6-8. i wasn't even sure that it was pyrex when i first spotted it because i had never seen the pattern before, but the shape gave it away. and then of course i did the pyrex flip. you all know what i'm talking about!!! (e.g. turned it over). it was so sad to leave all the pretty pink and yellow pyrex behind at that place but at $20 -40 each, there was just no way! the good news was because i drove all the way to sacramento (roughly 1.5 hours from my home) i checked out four thrift stores and found 5 other pieces!!! yippee! so, good day with nine new lovelies and i spent less than $50!
