Hello Everyone!

I have finally gotten into a rhythm with school, so I will hopefully be able to be a little more active in this space! I don't know how thrifting has been for you all but it has been really slow around here! I haven't found a single piece of Pyrex in almost a month! I'm going out tomorrow morning, hopefully that will change! :)

I haven't been finding any Pyrex but I have been using it! I do love using my Pyrex, it's just so pretty! Here are a few things I've been using it for:

Pumpkin Waffles!, originally uploaded by jenib320.
Whipped up my very favorite Pumpkin Waffles using some homemade pumpkin puree. They are like pumpkin pie waffles, so delicious!

Popcorn, originally uploaded by jenib320.
Pyrex is always used for Homemade Microwave Popcorn around here!

Pumpkin Seeds, originally uploaded by jenib320.
I love making one of my all time favorite foods, Roasted Pumpkin Seeds!

Homemade Strawberry Freezer Jam, originally uploaded by jenib320.
It was time for another batch of Homemade Strawberry Freezer Jam! :)

Sewing Corner, originally uploaded by jenib320.
When all else fails, I love to use my Pyrex in my sewing area! It's perfect for holding little notions!

How are you all using your Pyrex?

  1. I went yesterday while the brats, I mean boys were in school. I found the large town and country casserole dish (it's REALLY been loved....lots of baked in stains that I need to work on) for $1.50 and I found a opal divided dish, gunna try and rid myself of that one tho).

Last week, I came across the town and country nesting casserole dishes (?) 3 of the 4 (?) and the yellow bowl that goes along w/ the T&C nesting bowl set w/ ears and the jadite green brownie pan.

  2. Jeni, Jeni, Jeni. You need your own magazine or TV show. You can be the nice, much younger, way cooler Martha for this generation. Everything you do looks great and you've got such an eye for composition. You should get some university credit for your blog and pictures. I want to try the pumpkin waffles. Mmmm. My son would love to help make them.
    Thanks for sharing.
