This pattern is called Gold Acorn. This divided dish came with the lid, bonus! I absolutely love it.
This is a JAJ Pyrex piece from England and the pattern is Tuscany Vegetables. The design is nice and crisp, no scratches! It's pretty good, considering it's practically as old as me!
Now, I've gotten in the habit of going over all the merchandise twice, and 7 times out of 10, I see stuff I almost missed the first time! Like the Gold Acorn casserole, it was with a bunch of unrelated articles, not even in the proper section, with other stuff on top. (Perhaps somebody tried to hide it there and come back later to get it, and I foiled their great plan, mwahahaha!)
So my advice to you, go around twice and look in unusual spots!
Fantastic haul! I too goes over the merchandise twice! We never know what we're going to find the second time around!

ReplyDeleteOh wow I have never seen snowflake mixing bowls.
Well I had not even thought about the English pyrex it too is beautiful .
You do realize you have now planted a seed of collecting more pyrex to decorate the different seasons with .
Oh what fun I am going to have!
I must start looking twice when out searching for pyrex treasures.
Thank you for sharing your gorgeous finds .
Until next time
Happy Trails
What a great haul!! I've been so busy at work that I haven't had the time to go thrifting or even post pics of the last Pyrex I got. Good for you for looking twice!
ReplyDeleteReally great finds!! Quite the variety. The golden acorn has got to be my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteI should start doing the ole "twice over" too! To think of all the things I could have missed!
Wow that is some kind of Pyrex haul!! I try to keep my eyes open when I shop because stuff does get 'moved' to weird spots. Good finds!
ReplyDeleteAlways go around at least one more time!! If you're lucky - they might come out to restock and Pyrex will be on the cart - it happened to me!! Great pieces....
