I added two great pieces to my Pyrex collection this weekend. The small dip bowl from the Balloons pattern. eeek! At this point, I'm wondering how long I can hold out for a thrifted matching chip bowl before I breakdown and buy one on Etsy or eBay.
I also picked up the Barbed Wire divided casserole dish with a lid! I've already planned out my Christmas dishes using Aqua Snowflake casseroles and Pink Gooseberry bowls... but I think I may need to sneak in a green bean casserole in this Barbed Wire dish!
This week I also acquired a mid century modern hutch for the sole purpose of displaying my Pyrex collection. As soon as I get everything artfully arranged, I'll post some pics! Hope everyone is having a great week =)
Love the blue bowl! I have a barbed wire divided dish and I love it's look. You found some great pieces! Looking forward to your new display hutch.
ReplyDeleteThe dip bowl! Nice!!! I found the chip the yesterday. Today I missed out on the Y/G/R primary, I was just a few min too late.
ReplyDeleteParachutes! Love.

SO jealous ofthe dip bowl! i want that set so badly. great find :)
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous too! I have yet to find a balloon bowl. I did however purchase the "barbwire" divided dish (without the lid) from a Goodwill store the other day! I am using it to display my Christmas cards I receive this year.

Two pieces I covet very much. The barbed wire is such a groovy design!
ReplyDeleteI have the barbed wire, too. It's such a different, cool pattern. I love it. I seriously am jealous of the balloon bowl.
ReplyDeleteI suffer from total Balloons envy! Did you get the rack for the Barbed wire?
ReplyDeleteNo rack =( I don't own a single stand. I know they're out there, but I never find them!
ReplyDeleteAnother one here suffering from balloon bowl envy!! I'm also suffering from barbed wire envy too. What nice finds!! Maybe after Christmas I can get back into scouting for Pyrex!
