Feeling blue

Hello fellow pyromaniacs!!! So great to read all your posts and prove for once and all to my hubbie that there are others out there :-) I'm Alice and I write about my vintage finds over at Thrifted Treasure.

I absolutely love hunting for vintage decor at flea markets, op shops (thrift stores) and garage sales. I have a particular interest in vintage kitchenalia and items to use as kids decor for my 3 little boys.

I think collecting pyrex is so enjoyable because it is so attainable and comes in so many beautiful colours and patterns that there is something out there for everyone. I particularly love blue and white pieces and thought I would share some of my favourites today...

My collection pales in comparison to some of you serious collectors out there but is ever-growing and I look forward to sharing some more of my pieces and some future finds with you...

And thanks again to Erin for such a great idea in setting up this blog and Jeni for the gorgeous design!

  1. You have a beautiful collection. Mine is not nearly as large but I keep adding to it. You are right it is so attainable and priced right. I love that last bowl, unusual!

  2. I love seeing how you group the colours together. I find blues so soothing. Oh yes, and I'm extremely jealous, but we're still friends.

  6. I love blues! I had to cut my collection down to ONLY blue, otherwise, I'd be going crazy picking up every random peice of pyrex I see...

  7. What a lovely collection you have. I see from your blog you live in Australia. Is there an Australian version of Pyrex like the British Crown JAJ? Is that what the bowl with the hearts is?

  8. Thanks everyone. Betty, Pyrex made in Australia is usually marked "Agee Pyrex" The bowl with the hearts however is just marked "Pyrex Ovenware" so I assume it's pyrex from the USA. I'd love if anyone out there had info on the pattern or what it's called as I'd love to hunt down a few more pieces :-)
