Attention So Cal Pyrexics!

I'm having a yard sale tomorrow and you're all invited, lol!  I finally decided exactly which Pyrex I do and do not collect and these are the pieces I've decided to part with.  There's Butterprint, Butterfly Gold, Autumn Harvest, Charcoal Snowflake, Friendship, Forest Fancies, and much, much more.

There is tons of vintage clear Pyrex as well.  My prices won't be as low as someone selling who doesn't know what they have, but honestly I am just looking to get back what I paid for these pieces.

For those of you who don't live nearby, have you ever had a Pyrex yard sale? How did it go?

Here's the link to my yard sale ad.

  8. So far it's been mostly a bust :-( The little lime casseroles did sell, and some Butterprint (but not all). We only have a couple of hours to go.

I will make up a FS list for the Collective after our sale (later this week). I just hate wrapping and shipping!

  11. All but 3 pieces of clear Pyrex sold, but I sold very little of the patterned Pyrex. Some people who looked at it remembered growing up with it, and several people were talking about how expensive it was (in another language, but one that we understand, lol). Of what I did sell, Butterorint was the most popular. A few people came because I mentioned Pyrex in the ad but they were looking for specific pieces to complete collections.

Over and over I heard "How would you store it?" and "It's lovely but how would you use it?" But biggest kill, however, was hand-washing ~ I guess most of the public just doesn't want to wash dishes by hand.
