Well, I've finally found a little time to post my most recent finds from my Alabama trip a couple of weekends ago, and also a little haul that I found on Craigslist last week (thanks to my son). It's quite a bit, so I hope I don't bore you with all the pics.
I think my most favorite of all is the little pink 080! I had been looking and looking for one of those forever! Now the problem I have is where to put it all!!! I would love to see how others display, or store their Pyrex...and maybe I can get some ideas. :)
Wow!!! You have some great pieces in there! I think my favorite is the pink also (that divided snowflake is pretty fab too!). :) Congrats on the haul!
ReplyDeleteImpossible to bore me with Pyrex! Lovely finds.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you going to DO with all of it?!? :-D
What an awesome haul! I'm liking the pink and that divided Snowflake too. I keep my pyrex in three parts of the house: kitchen (everyday use), pantry (occasional pieces like divided casseroles), and the cold storage room (very infrequent use, or I don't love it any more). So pyrex all over the house is the answer for me :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pink. I have been keeping my eyes out for solid pink but no real luck so far.
ReplyDeleteooh some lovely pieces there! thanks for sharing the photos.
ReplyDeletei put my kids crayons, figure collections,etc....in PYREX as well as tooth brushes in the bathroom,to store thread, ribbons, and other crafting items....to help me organize coupons, keep my lotions and make up manageable as well as to cook in and store food....plus some to display. I have so much I switch out the PYREX I am using for the seasons and holidays...and I still have some packed away to sell and trade...it really tends to take over
ReplyDeleteyour pyrex angel has certainly been looking out for you! doesn't it just feel so good to wander into a store thinking "is there going to be something pyrex here for me?" and then find a whole bunch of pieces! i love that feeling as well as getting them all home and spreading them out on the counter to all be admired and welcomed into their new home :)
ReplyDeleteI'm struggling with storage/display ideas as well. My collection has grown in spurts...so every time a new batch comes home, I have to rethink my plan. Same goes for my Corningware.
ReplyDeleteI want to use it AND I want to display and enjoy it. I think the only solution is to rotate regularly. And a few *might* go on display in the family room :)
They're all fab! Definitely deserve special storage/display :-)
