Identity Crisis!

Hey everyone! I know this blog is dedicated to Pyrex, and I'm almost positive this piece isn't a Pyrex. But who knows, maybe it is?? I'm gonna go a little off course here and ask for help!  I figured if anyone could help me find out, you guys could, because I have no idea what kind of dish this is!

I spotted it in Smile and Wave's advertisement for her upcoming ecourse, and I fell in love. I have to have one! If only I knew what to type into google. Hmm....

Sorry for the blurry picture. I hope it gets the point across!

  1. It is a Catherine Holm piece (JeniB is very much into her stuff ... if you have questions, ask her!)

Here's some info to get you started:

  2. I have no idea, but it looks like Jenna does. I found one of the divided dishes last year at a yard sale. I think I gav 50 cents for it.

  3. I love the Catherine Holm pieces- have been looking out for one in an op shop but have had no luck yet. Perhaps they aren't very common in Australia?

    Good luck with your search.

  5. Catherine Holm = expensive stuff! If you EVER see it in the thrift, grab it, even if you don't want it. You can resell even the smallest pieces for over $50. It is ridiculous.

  6. I love Cathrineholm. It's a mid-century Norwegian design. Very popular and very expensive. I never find it thrifting. Like Rueby says, if you ever see it, grab it! There are lots of pics in the Flickr group for Cathrineholm.

  7. And if you want to fuel the addiction further, look up Dansk Kobenstyle and Kaj Franck enamelware too. More cool stuff.
