This is a little bowl that I scored a few months ago at one of my favorite little thrift stores. I walked by it several times before I picked it up. I really didn't think it was Pyrex, but something told me to turn it over and look. As you can see, it is marked Pyrex and and under that England. I've had no luck whatsoever in finding out anything about this bowl (i.e. pattern name, when it was produced). Does anyone know anything about it??
You might try to find a listing for JAJ patterns. That is what most Pyrex made in England is called. Have you checked Pyrex Love? Good Luck. It is a sweet piece!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I checked Pyrex Love, googled it, and still can't find a pattern name or anything. I think it's a cute little piece too. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon,
ReplyDeletePyrexLove mainly focuses on US patterns, so it is unlikely you'll find any info on JAJ Pyrex. You might want to try posting in the Pyrex Love on Flickr - there is a JAJ Pyrex expert, Alan, who actually WORKED at the factory in Sunderland producing these little gems before the factory closed.

Good luck!
That is a very sweet piece of Pyrex! Here is a website of some of the English Pyrex patterns:

Okay, I think it is "Laura" circa 1986 (I was pretty sure it was 80s, lol).
