For the past week and half my computer has been in the shop. I had over a thousand pictures to edit and go through but most importantly I had Pyrex finds that I couldn't share!
I'm going to start with my most recent find and debatably the best.
Recently I had set myself some limits, one being that I would only collect aqua and some certain patterns but wouldn't you know it, I forgot about orange! Orange is my favorite color and for $2.99 there was no way I was walking out of Goodwill without this one. It's a 403 Mixing bowl. I'm wondering were theses a set like the primary and the aqua bowls?
The decanter was a steal at $4.99, I couldn't believe the cork was still attached. It really looks like it was never used. I doubt I'll put wine in it like it's original intent. I don't want the cork to get discolored. It will most likely end up on my nightstand for water.
Wonderful finds! I love that decanter.
ReplyDeleteIs the bowl maybe part of the Friendship set? The Cinderella Friendships go patter-orange-pattern-red, but my mixing bowl set is pattern-red-pattern-orange.
I was thinking Friendship Mixing Bowl set too. That decanter is perfect!
ReplyDeleteOrange and aqua are complimentary opposites on the colour wheel so a perfect excuse to collect both :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat finds Ana! The Friendship orange bowl is a 404, not 403, so my guess is you have the 403 from Daisy:

Pretty sure that's Friendship! I have that little bowl, too, and I love it. It's just so bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteI collect orange and turquoise too ~ they are perfect together! You were super lucky to find the carafe with the cork; I found one for $1 but it has a replacement lid on it, not the cork.
ReplyDeleteThe decanter is very cool. I've never seen such a big cork before.

Orange is my favourite colour as well but I have so little of it in my collection. Great find. The decanter is very cool as well.
