Honeysuckle!

According to this article in today's Toronto Star, the colour of the year as chosen by the Pantone Colour Institute, a leading colour forecasting company, is a reddish pink called honeysuckle. It was chosen because it offers a more optimistic response to today's economic challenges. "It emboldens us to face everyday troubles with verve and vigour", the colour industry site says.

And this reddish pink goes a little something like this:

Of course Pyrex would have this hue in its collection! "It emboldens us to face everyday troubles with verve and vigour." Couldn't agree more. This in fact could be Pyrex's motto, don't you think?

  1. P.S. On second glance, the colour is a little different, but I think my photo is a little on the yellow side. It is closer to the honeysuckle in real life. Still, close enough for me!

  3. It's so funny that you posted this because I had recently read this article below about Honeysuckle, the color of the year.

It is talking about paper and I ended up ordering the paper for some wedding invitations I designed. It is gorgeous! And I love that Pyrex has bowls in the same color. My two favorite things - PAPER and PYREX! :)
