Recent finds

It's been a while since I posted, but all along I did find a few great pieces and I'm finally sharing them with you all.

First off, I found this gorgeous Blue Horizon bowl at VV before Christmas.

On an other occasion, I found this lasagna pan at the Sally Ann, and after a bit of research, discovered that it is an English Pyrex pattern called "Vines".

As luck would have it, I recently found this casserole with lid, also at SA, for $5.99, which I thought was a deal, considering that when I popped in this morning, I found a Spring Blossom gravy saucer without the gravy boat for $5.99! Needless to say, I left it there.

They make a nice pair, don't they?

But my favourite recent find is by far is this Barbed Wire divided casserole with lid at SA! It was one of those heavens opening up moment! I love this pattern, I think it is so funky. It think I payed $7.99 and it is in perfect shape, so it was totally worth it.

  1. They are ALL great finds, but I'm loving the Barbed Wire casserole!!!

  2. Wow! What beautiful Pyrex finds! I especially like the English Vine ones!! And, of course I love the Horizon Blue (one of my new fav patterns), and the black barbed wire divided dish is great too!

  3. The two pieces from Englad are a match made in heaven! And i would die to find the barbed wire pattern while out thrifiting!
