Divided We Stand

Hi, Alice from Thrifted Treasure here. I was just clearing out my kitchen cupboards and rearranging things and thought while they were out I'd share my little collection of pyrex divided dishes (a couple of images are from previous posts)...

I think I've paid anywhere from $2 to $6 for each of these, some are from markets, some are from thrift stores, I love them all :-)

  1. They are very pretty...have you figured out what to use them for besides eye candy? I put fresh nuts in their shells in one side and the nut cracker and empty shells in the other....but as an actual casserole....I am at a lose. Any ideas?

  2. Hi eclecticmom, I find them great for doing things like potato or pasta bake, my boys don't like onions so I bake theirs in one side without and ours on the other with... and for doing seasonal veggies, eggplant on one side, sweet potato on the other. Great for serving up chips and dip too. Great idea for the nuts and shells, I'm stealing that one!

  4. I just picked up a snowflake pattern one on Sunday. I was thinking it would come in handy for the holiday to put two different veggies in and keep warm in the oven until it's time to sit down for dinner. I love your collection, so colorful!

  5. Hi--I just found my first thrifted divided dish today and it doesn't have a lid so I just thought they would all be like that--this is such a great learning experience--thanks to all for showing what "ya got". It really helps me out. According to the Pyrex bible, mine did not come with a lid when new...
