Pyrex thrifts.

Hi All!  I collect all kinds of vintage stuff, but I'm fairly new to vintage Pyrex collecting.  I love learning about all the patterns and colors- thanks for all the great posts!  I just picked up these two pieces on Saturday, and paid $3.00 for the blue and $2.00 for the white and green.  Can anyone help me with the specific pattern names for these?  I've tried learning about the blue one and I think it's known as "barcode" blue.  Any other info would be much appreciated- thanks!

  1. I think the white and green one is known as 'Square Flower Green' It's not the official name...

  2. Pyrex Verde is a name I see popping up with similar bowls to the green flowered one on eBay.
It's lovely, congratulations on your great thrifting score!

  8. I really like the square green flowers/Verde pieces; they coordinate really well with Spring Blossom Green. Keep your eye out for lids; I often find them separately and without any matching pieces in the thrift.

  9. I do have a lid question.....are they marked at all, with Pyrex or a number or something like that, or will I just be able to tell that they are the right lids? Thanks for all the comments and info!

  10. Yes, the lids are marked "Pyrex" plus some numbers and letters. I'm assuming from the picture that your pieces are 6.25" diameter bake, serve, store casseroles. They take an almost flat, round lid with tabs. Look for the mark 470-C. There will be another number in front of that, but it refers to something other than size; the 470 is the important part. I find them all the time at Goodwill for 99c.
