New Obsession!

I've been collecting Pyrex for 4 years now. At first I hungered for ALL the pieces but as time passed and my collection grew, I started being 'picky' and passing entire patterns.
A couple of weeks ago, I started obsessing about Spring Blossom Green and Crazy Daisy. It made me think of Spring and flowers and sunshine.

So today I changed my display in the kitchen...

Best Friends!

Chatting...

My new acquisitions? A small fridgie and the larger refrigerator dish of the Verde set.

Aren't they fresh and sweet?

  1. I have to be honest, this pattern has never been one of my favorites because the color reminds me of canned peas and it turns my stomach...hehe. But the way you have displayed them with the light greeny-yellow backdrop is just gorgeous and is making me rethink my dislike for them. :) Just beautiful...great idea!

  4. How funny because I have found myself drawn the Spring Blossom pattern lately also. Love you display. I need to re-do mine and really showcase them instead of just pile them on the shelves.

  7. It was an idea from my better half! That background seems to bring the best from Pink Pyres, Turquoise,Butterprint and Crazy Daisy. They are near where I cook so I can always grab one....

    And I use them everyday!

  8. Vonlipi: Is the background contact paper or wallpaper? I have several large white bookcases, and I was thinking I could move one into my dining room, and showcase some of my Pyrex with a coordinating background.

  9. The background is painted beadboard, cut to fit, glued and painted.

Come to think of it it was painted before glueing. The green matches the kitchen.
